Where I Slept
I stayed in the Santa Lucia Studio with a king bed, and honestly, I could have happily stayed in that room the entire trip. It was spacious without feeling cavernous, with a plush king bed, a cozy little seating area, and a private balcony that looked straight out at the Santa Lucia Mountains. One morning I stepped outside with my coffee and there were deer grazing just below the balcony. But the real highlight for me was the Bee's Life experience. I put on a full beekeeping suit and got an up-close look at the world of bees and just how important they are to the ecosystem around us. It was hands-on, genuinely educational, and a great reminder of how seriously Carmel Valley Ranch takes sustainability, from the organic gardens to their farming practices across the property.
